  1. QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS & CHAMPIONSHIPS
    Those skating competitions and championships leading to and including the National Synchronized Skating Championships. Currently these qualifying competitions and championships are Regionals and National Qualifying Rounds.
  2. NON-QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS & CHAMPIONSHIPS
    For the purposes of these rules, the term “non-qualifying competition” is used in reference to events which do not qualify teams for the National Synchronized Skating Championships: Club, Interclub, and all Invitational competitions.
  3. EVENTS
    The levels of skating competition included at the Qualifying Competitions and Championships. Currently the events are Novice, Intermediate, Open, Junior and Senior.
  4. DISCIPLINE
    The type of skating included at the Qualifying Competitions and Championships: synchronized skating.
