  1. QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS
    Those skating competitions and championships leading to and including the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in singles, pair and ice dance. Currently These are Sub-Sectionals, Sectionals & Skate Canada Challenge Competitions. The levels of skating competition at the qualifying competitions and Championships currently are Juvenile, Pre-Novice, Novice, Junior and Senior.
  2. NON-QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS
    For the purposes of these rules, the term “non-qualifying competition” is used in reference to events which do not qualify skaters for the Canadian Figure Skating Championships. These include: club, interclub, and invitational competitions.
  3. DISCIPLINE
    The type of skating at the qualifying competitions and championships. Currently the disciplines are women’s singles, men’s singles, pair and ice dance.
