National Coaching Certification Program Status Definitions

The following chart will indicate a coach’s National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) status in relations to Skate Canada skating programs or competition attendance. For further information regarding NCCP certification requirements for accreditation at events please refer to the Accreditation for Events policy in the Policy and Procedures section of the Skate Canada Rule Book on Info Centre.

Individuals teaching Skate Canada programs need to be registered professional coaches in good standing. Please refer to the Professional Coach Membership Procedure for further information. It is also the coach’s responsibility to show proof of their current NCCP status upon request from club board members, skating school representatives, and volunteers at competitions. Please refer to our Locker transcript for details on your NCCP record.
