510 Test and Age Prerequisites for Competing

  1. JUVENILE EVENTS:
    1. SINGLES:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Junior Bronze Free Skating Test or higher.
      2. AGE: Juvenile Singles competitors shall be grouped in two age categories as follows:
        a. U1211: under the age of 1211 before July 1 preceding the event.
        b. U14: under the age of 14 before July 1 preceding the event.
    2. PAIR:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Junior Bronze Free Skating test or higher.
      2. AGE: Juvenile Pair competitors shall be under the age of 18 16 before July 1 preceding the >event.
    3. DANCE:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Junior Bronze Dance test or higher.
      2. AGE: Juvenile Dance competitors shall be under the age of 18 16  before July 1 preceding the event.
  2. PRE-NOVICE EVENTS:
    1. SINGLES:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Junior Bronze Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: Pre-Novice Singles competitors shall be under the age of 16 before July 1 preceding the event.
    2. PAIR:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Junior Bronze Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: Pre-Novice Pair competitors shall be under the age of 18 before July 1 preceding the event.
    3. DANCE:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Junior Bronze Dance test or higher.
      2. AGE: Pre-Novice Dance competitors shall be under the age of 18 before July 1 preceding the event.
  3. NOVICE EVENTS:
    1. SINGLES:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: Novice Singles competitors shall be under the age of 17 before July 1 preceding the event.
    2. PAIR:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: No age requirements.
    3. DANCE:
      1. TEST: Must have passed at least two pattern dances from the Gold Dance Test or higher.
      2. AGE: Shall meet ISU Junior age criteria (maximum age limit only applies).
  4. JUNIOR EVENTS:
    1. SINGLES
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: Shall meet ISU Junior age criteria (maximum age limit only applies)
    2. PAIR:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: No age requirements for qualifying competitions in Canada.
    3. DANCE:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Dance Test or higher.
      2. AGE: Shall meet ISU Junior age criteria (maximum age limit only applies).
  5. SENIOR EVENTS:
    1. SINGLES:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: No age requirement.
    2. PAIR:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Free Skating Test.
      2. AGE: No age requirement.
    3. DANCE:
      1. TEST: Must have passed the complete Gold Dance Test or higher.
      2. AGE: No age requirement.
