REPORT OF THE CHIEF DATA SPECIALIST

 

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CHIEF DATA SPECIALIST (PART A)

 The report is to be completed by the Chief Data Specialist (Part A) for all competitions for which a sanction has been issued by SKATE CANADA.  This includes Canadians, Challenge, Sectionals, Interclub and Special Competitions but does not include Club Competitions.

The Chief Data Specialist is asked to assess those who acted as Data Specialists at the competition, and is also invited to comment on the facilities provided.  Positive suggestions or comments regarding forms, Policies and Procedures, etc may be added.

 

CHIEF DATA SPECIALIST ASSESSMENT (PART B)

The Assessment of the Chief Data Specialist must be completed by the Technical Representative for Sub-Sectionals and higher and mailed to:
SKATE CANADA, ATTN: OFFICALS PROGRAM MANAGER.

For competitions below sub-sectionals, the Chief Data Specialist must mail the completed form in accordance with Policies and Procedures as outlined in the rulebook to the Chair, Section Data Specialists Committee.

 

SUMMARY

Since some of the information recorded in this report may be used to determine whether or not a Data Specialist should be appointed or promoted, or assigned to future competitions, careful assessment by those completing the form is appreciated.
