Senior Section Level Singles Judge: Learning Facilitator Application

Are you interested in becoming a Skate Canada Judge Learning Facilitator? Skate Canada is looking for enthusiastic judges to become learning facilitators for the new Senior Section Level Singles Judge Training Program (will replace existing Juvenile, Novice and Senior clinics). These individuals will be trained by Skate Canada to deliver the new program and will be responsible for mentoring/training judges through their training pathway to become a Senior Section Level Singles Judge. 

Judges wishing to apply should satisfy the following requirements:

  • Currently a Skate Canada registrant
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a Senior Section Level Singles Judge (or higher)
  • Committed to being a learning facilitator for a minimum of 3 years

Candidate must be:

  • Approachable
  • Personable
  • Enthusiastic
  • Knowledgeable
  • Organized
  • Comfortable facilitating a group
  • Passionate about judging
  • Strong leadership skills

All applications are due: Monday May 8th, 2017 by 11:59 pm EST.

Those selected will be contacted to schedule an interview by May 15th, 2017. Due to an anticipated high volume of applications, only those selected will be contacted.

Note: One individual per section will be selected to attend an in-person training seminar in Toronto on July 7-9, 2017. This individual will be responsible for training other successful applicants in their section.
