Pink Shirt Day - February 22, 2017

Pink Shirt Day comes from two Nova Scotia high school students, who decided to take a stand against bullying in their own school. More info: http://pinkshirtday.ca/

On February 22, 2017 “Pink Shirt Day”, we welcome you to:

  • Wear something pink
  • Encourage all coaches, skaters, volunteers, and parents to wear pink at the rink
  • Share your support on social media! Make sure to use the hashtags: #PinkShirtDay #PinkShirtPromise #SafeSport.

Additionally, and in conjunction with Pink Shirt Day February 22, 2017, we are pleased to announce that Safe Sport will be offering the Respect in Sport – Activity Leader training for all coaches, officials and team leaders.

We want to assure parents they’re enrolling their children in skating clubs and schools that have the best standards of care for athletes.
