The Respect Resource Line

In addition to the training, we are also offering a 24/7 resource line for advice on responding to inappropriate behaviour.

In the event you are faced with a situation involving bullying, abuse, harassment, discrimination or any other form of maltreatment and are unsure how to proceed, the Respect Resource line 24/7 is available to assist. This line is not for technical support, but offers assistance and advice on responding to inappropriate behaviour.

This confidential/anonymous resource is intended to assist you in determining the most appropriate course of action to take.

The toll free number is: 1-888-329-4009

“We are so excited to be able to offer this training and resource line. This excellent initiative will guarantee that our coaches, officials and team leaders are given the opportunity to become the very best, well educated activity leaders in our sport.” Ilan Yampolsky, Safe Sport Director

“Already a Champion of the Responsible Coaching Movement, Skate Canada has demonstrated great leadership within the sport community to ensure athlete safety both on and off the field of play. This agreement with Respect in Sport is another example of what a sport organization can do to assure parents they’re enrolling their children in clubs that have the best standards of care for athletes.” Lorraine Lafrenière, CEO of the Coaching Association of Canada
